International Financial Centre

Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia will create its first dedicated international standard business park with the construction of the International Finance Centre (IFC). This business and finance hub will be made up of 28 dedicated buildings with a collective gross floor area (GFA) of 101,304 sqm.

The IFC is a cornerstone of Saint Lucia’s planning for its future – a nation learning lessons from centres like Singapore, a nation that wishes to be innovative, green and a business and lifestyle hub within the wider Caribbean.

The IFC will integrate key smart architecture concepts promoted by the masterplan, including but not limited to a floating solar farm located within the lake of the IFC. Floating solar farms are successfully being used throughout China, France, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the United States. The solar farm located within the IFC will assist Saint Lucia to meet its climate change milestones, as signed within the Paris Climate Agreement. It will be a notable generator of clean energy and it will play a role in water harvesting with water used for irrigation, landscaping as well as minimizing the requirements for air conditioning.
